Known as the creator/director of the acclaimed underground hipster subculture short film "Apocalypse Pooh," Toronto-based comedian Todd Graham also performs stand-up under his personae 'Idiot Gallant,' which refers to an irreverent comedy approach that he calls "red herring rope-a-dope style." Todd finds the bizarre and disjointed in the everyday, in a way that recalls Robin Williams, Steven Wright and Emo Phillips - as a larger than life character stymied by the things the rest of us hardly notice, but should. Delivered in a halting style, where you think you know what's coming but are then bowled over with the delivery of a knock-out punchline, the Idiot Gallant has built a large audience on YouTube. Known for an indie-guerilla performance style, Todd will find a microphone and take over any space, making it his personal stage. This has resulted in a pop-up style of concert tour that is as enjoyable as it is surprising. Since you can't predict where Todd will perform next, you'll have to pass the time with his debut album Bustin' Loose, available on Google Play/iTunes and on vinyl at a store near you.
