THE PIRATES OF SOMALIA ist eine One-Man-Show von Evan Peters, der ab und zu Hilfe von Barkhad Abdi bekommt. Al Pacino dagegen, oder auch Melanie Griffith, sieht man nur wenige Minuten, was enttäuschend ist.

Abdi und Jay wuchsen mir nicht ans Herz und im Endeffekt war es mir egal, ob Jay Erfolg hat oder nicht.

Der Film macht zwar vieles richtig, ist aber weder Fisch noch Fleisch und es mangelt an Emotionen, Gefühlen und Dramatik.
