Description

Imagine a world where the living are possessed by mysterious demonic spirits from the past. Imagine a world where spectacular feats of strength are matched by bone-cracking stunts. Young, attractive aerobics instructor Christie Ryder (Lucinda Dickey, Breakin’, Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo) suddenly finds herself possessed by the diabolical spirit of a Ninja assassin. Dominated by the killer’s vicious and relentless rage, she sets out to brutally attack and destroy his enemies. Her boyfriend, thoroughly confused by Christie’s changed personality, enlists the help of the good Ninja Yamada (legendary martial artist Shô Kosugi, Enter the Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja). In a life-threatening exorcism and ultimate fight to the death, Yamada proves that he is Christie’s only chance for survival…and that only a Ninja can kill a Ninja. This insanely entertaining Cannon cult classic was directed by action master Sam Firstenberg (American Ninja, Avenging Force) and features the unstoppable James Hong (Blade Runner, Missing in Action).

...damit ist nicht der Film an sich gemeint, den mag man oder nicht, sondern die Qualität der Disc. Als Master hat hier eindeutig eine VHS-Kassette (4:3) herhalten müssen, welche anschliessend hochskaliert wurden.
Die Bildqualität ist grottenschlecht! Bei Nachtszenen ist kaum was zu erkennen.
Und beim Ton ist's auch nicht besser. Eine absolute Frechheit was sich Ascot Elite hier erlaubt. Es müsste vorboten sein, sowas überhaupt als High Definition deklarieren zu dürfen. Das ist die qualitativ schlechteste Blu-Ray, die ich je gesehen habe!
