La jetée (1962):
Cortometraggio, che è una storia di fantascienza ambientata in una futura era postatomica, presenta una insolita tecnica narrativa: l'intera pellicola non è un vero e proprio filmato in movimento, bensì una sequenza di fotografie, con voce narrante fuori campo che racconta l'intera storia.

Sans soleil (1983):
