There's only one thing that comes close to the sheer exhilaration felt when hearing Keith Richards at his finest playing a guitar fretboard - and that's hearing him talk! And although the great man's debut solo-album was entitled Talk Is Cheap, that's only correct when Keef's not doing the talking - otherwise it's worth its weight in gold. Never less than splendidly entertaining, 'the human riff' can ramble on for hours and those under his omnipotent spell will sit attentively and take in every word. In fact, if all Mr Richards could do well was play the guitar and write songs - despite being among the best in the world at both pursuits - admit it, we wouldn't love him half so much. This DVD includes almost 2 hours of rare filmed interviews with Keith Richards, from various junctures across his career to date, and during which he waxes lyrical on just about everything, from his musical idols to his distrust of all things inauthentic - and he even throws in a few quips and home-truths about his old mucker, Sir Michael Phillip Jagger. Honest, candid, bawdy or heart wrenching, every emotion is expressed herein and via these many exceptional film sequences we see a side of this intriguing character that is so often forgotten or misunderstood.
