  • Maybe a bad copy...

Written on 22. February 2024 by blh.

I already own 5 Blu-Ray of the Danish Symphony Orchestra, and I have never been disappointed until now by their Blu-Ray, all of them in Full HD for the video and DTS-HD Master for the audio track.
The jacket of this one mentions Dolby Atmos for the Audio, which was a really great surprise for me. Unfortunately, no Atmos track in the Blu-Ray I received, only Dolby True HD instead. Nevertheless, the sound quality is really good. But the main problem is on the video side.
Even I cannot prove that, the two drawbacks mentionned above let me think of a very bad copy of an original, because it is quite hard to believe that the production team has released a very poor quality Blu-Ray like this one.
In any case, this Blu-Ray cannot reach my expectations and it is properly unwatchable on a high-end 65 inches OLED TV. So I have completely waste my money.
Finally, on the music side, the show and the orchestra are truly amazing, as always with this orchestra.
