Description

girlfighting is the fresh, triumphant story of a young woman in the bronx who discovers her greatest love in the boxing ring. diana guzman is always fighting, whether at home in the housing projects with her abusive dad or at high school against gossipy girl cliques, but she finds a new outlet for her anger at her brother's boxing gym. with hard-core training from veteran boxing coach hector, diana learns she has the guts and talent to be a contender. when she falls for macho featherweight adrian, her heart is put to the test.

Dans "Girlfight", Michelle Rodriguez prouve son grand talent et peut carrément être comparé à un diamant brut ! Malheureusement, elle semble s'être perdue ensuite dans des rôles secondaires (Blue Crush, S.W.A.T., Fast & Furious) que je n’ai pas vraiment vu, mais ça ne me donne pas trop envie.

J’étais très content de la voir dans des Resident Evil et dans la seconde saison de «Lost».
Avec ce film elle a réussi à percer !
C’est un bon film pour les femmes.
«Femmes, ce film vous donne de la force !!!»
Mais il peut inspirer n’importe qui, en fait.

Le hic, c’est que ce film est bon, mais monotone.
Girlfight est un assez bon film en soi, il est juste un peu ennuyeux sur la longueur. Peu de lieux de tournage et de multiples répétitions sont à noter, sinon ça vaut le coup d'œil. Dommage qu’elle ne soit connue que comme une actrice de Fast & Furious par certain.
Cette femme a pourtant du mordant.

Difficile ne pas penser à Million Dollar Baby en voyant ce film de combat féminin.

Un film de boxe a voir, mais tout en sachant qu’il n’a pas la puissance d’un Rocky, qui reste le maître absolu. Ceci dit, ce film montre des choses que l’on ne voit pas souvent dans d’autres films (bagarre physique avec un parent, combats de boxe mixtes) et ça le rend d’autant plus intriguant et intéressant.

In "Girlfight" beweist Michelle Rodriguez ihr grosses Talent, das danach leider in Nebenrollen (Blue Crush, S.W.A.T., Fast & Furious) untergegangen zu sein SCHEINT... Ein starker Film mit einer starken Hauptdarstellerin!!!

girlfight ist an und für sich ein guter film, nur wirkt er auf die Länge ein bisschen eintönig.. wenige drehorte und mehrfache wiederholungen sind festzustellen, ansonsten recht sehenswert ( Schauspielerin von Fast & the Fourious)... die frau hat biss...
