Description

In The Imitation Game, Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Alan Turing, the genius British mathematician, logician, cryptologist and computer scientist who led the charge to crack the German Enigma Code that helped the Allies win WWII. Turing went on to assist with the development of computers at the University of Manchester after the war, but was prosecuted by the UK government in 1952 for homosexual acts which the country deemed illegal.

Ich kann mich gewissen Kommentaren gar nicht anschliessen. Benedict Cumberbatch ist ein hoch talentierter, begnadeter Schauspieler der zur absoluten Creme de la Creme gehört.
Die Geschichte ist fesselnd, und B.Cumberbatch spielt die Figur des Hauptdarstellers hoch emotional und tief in der Seele und dem Herzen berührend ! TOP !!

Weil Cumberbatch schon ein paar überzeugende Rollen gespielt hat, wird er jetzt halt gehypt, auch wenn er aus meiner Sicht nicht das riesengrosse Talent ist. Das Homo-Thema wird heute auch gehypt, dann kommt noch Keira Knightley dazu und schon hat man einen überbewerteten Film. Dabei hätte ich so gerne noch mehr über die Arbeitsweise der Experten und von Turings Maschine erfahren.

Massiv überschätzter Schauspieler, wird momentan sehr gehypt, warum erschliesst sich mir aber nicht...

Story ist bekannt und bereits verfilmt, tragisch bleibt sich deshalb natürlich trotzdem. Film ist okay, mehr aber bestimmt nicht.
