Description

Eran Creevy writes and directs this British gangster thriller set in London`s docklands. Ex-con Jacob Sternwood is forced to return to London from his hideout in Iceland when his son gets caught up in a heist gone wrong. His reappearance gives detective Max Lewinsky the chance he has long been waiting for to take down his old nemesis. But as their cat-and-mouse game unfolds, the two men end up becoming unlikely allies and working together to expose a deeper and more sinister conspiracy.

Stil hat dieser Krimi durchaus, wenn auch nur eingeschränkt. Wie bereits vom Vorrezensenten erwähnt ist die Visualisierung durchaus gelungen. Ebenso sind die Darstellungen der Hauptprotagonisten erwähnenswert. Allerdings schmälern die üblichen Klischees und Zutaten von bekannten Produktionen den Handlungsstrang. Fazit: Für das ungeübte Auge ist dieser Film durchaus sehenswert, da Geschwindigkeit, Action, Darstellung und der Storyverlauf europäischer und weniger US-explosiv geworden ist. Das macht ihn, trotz einiger mirakulöser Verläufe, interessanter. Von mir maximal ein ......

Der Film ist nicht wahnsinng gut. Aber der style und die Kameraaufnahmen sind super. Genau wie in The Sweeny/The Crime.
Schauspieler sind auch OK. Habe ganz bestimmt schon schlechtere Fillme gesehen.
