the legendary b.b. king was invited to take part in this three-day music festival. his performance before an audience of 80'000 africans is considered to be one of the greatest of his phenomenal career - a career that has earned him the title of "king of the blues". this inspired performance was shot by leon gast who won an award for "when we were kings", a documentary about the life of muhammad ali. if you look closely you can see ali in the audience of the show. now this classic footage is available on dvd and an unforgettable night of music is lived again.
