Hot-shot district attorney Mitch Brockdon commits a fatal hit-and-run and feels compelled to throw the case against the accused criminal who's found with the body and blamed for the crime. REASONABLE DOUBT fängt interessant und vielversprechend an, bleibt aber sehr vorhersehbar, ideenlos und klischeehaft. Emotionen und Sympathie sucht man vergeblich (und wenn, dann eher zu Samuel L. Jackson). Der Film erfindet das Genre nicht neu und es gibt auch keine unerwarteten Überraschungen. Sogar das Ende wirkt 0815. Für Krimi- und Thriller-Fans nichts Neues und nur durchschnittlich, da selten spannend.

Manchmal frage ich mich mit welcher Motivation Samuel L. Jackson seine Filme auswählt. Dieser ist so spannend wie kalter Kaffee. Die Story wirkt oft unlogisch und ausser Jackson sind nur mässige Schauspieler dabei. Gähn.

Und wieder ein typischer 08/15 thriller der den geübten Thriller Konsumenten absolut nicht neues zu bieten hat und von Anfang an klar ist, was passieren wird. Trotz Cooper kommt keine Spannung auf und Jackson spielt den gleichen typen der schon hundert mal gespielt hat.....
Lohnt sich nicht!
