When Vic (Bacon) leads four boys on a challenging in the Sierras, he is determined to teach his charges courage, camaraderie and survival. But his relentless, demanding routine pushes them to their physical and emotional limits, and the four boys discover they are as unprepared for the rigors of roughing it as they are for Vic`s unpredictable, volatile nature.
