Featuring some of Zakk Wylde's best-ever guitar work, along with four songs co-written by Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister, No More Tears contains some of the biggest songs of Ozzy's career, including the top 5 rock radio hits "No More Tears" and "Mama, I'm Coming Home" (the latter also his highest charting top 40 radio track), along with the Grammy®-winning song "I Don't Want to Change the World." The album went on to become quadruple-platinum in the US, becoming one of Ozzy's two best-selling albums alongside his groundbreaking solo debut Blizzard of Ozz.     Nach eher zwei mittelmäßigen Alben ("The Ultimate Sin" und "No Rest For The Wicked") ist, das 91er Platin-Album "No More Tears" ist einer von vielen Höhepunkten in der Karriere Ozzy Osbourne's, man kann dieses Album nur lieben. Schon der Opener "Mr. Tinkertrain" überzeugt mit guter Melodie und Härte. Der zweite Song "I Don't Want To Change The World", der 1993 einen Grammy absahnte, bleibt einem wie im Ohr stecken, und zu dem Smash-Hit "Mama, I'm Coming Home" muss man nicht mehr viel sagen, eine wunderbare Ballade. "Desire" ist wie so ziemlich jeder Song ein richtiger Ohrwurm. Mit dem Titeltrack "No More Tears" kommen wir auch schon zum Höhepunkt des Albums, jeder kennt diesen geilen Song, der eine Mischung aus tollem Heavy-Metal und Ballade darstellt. Ich finde es ist sowieso einer seiner besten Songs. Was danach kommt, ist alles noch hörenswert, besonders "S.I.N." und "Road To Nowhere" sowie die Ballade "Time After Time". Die beiden Bonus Tracks ("Don't Blame Me" & "Party With The Animals") überzeugen durch gute Melodie. Man kann von diesem Album nicht mehr erwarten als "perfekt", schließlich waren hier viele andere bedeutende Künstler am Werk (u.a. Frontman von Motörhead Lemmy). Ich kann hier keine Anspieltipps nennen, da einfach alle der Hammer sind, aber "No More Tears" sollte jeder Musik-Fan im Regal stehen haben.

    Kann ich zu 100% Empfehlen. Was besseres findet man kaum!

    Ein Klassiker der Hard-Rock-Geschichte und mit sicherheit eines der besten Metalalben aus den 90ern. Hier drauf sind ein paar von den grössten Ozzy-Klassikern überhaupt (I don't want to change the world, No more tears, Hellraiser, Mama I'm coming home) aber gerade auch die weniger bekannten Songs sind überragende Kompositionen und machen den Reiz aus. Hier drauf ist wirklich kein einziger schlechter Song!
    Herausragend ist vor allem das überrangende Schlagzeug von Meister Randy Castillo sowie natürlich die Klampfe vom vielleicht besten Rock-Gitaristen der 90er, Zakk Wylde. Achtung: Wenn ihr das unvergleichliche Bass-Intro zum Titeltrack einmal gehört habt, werdet ihr so leicht nicht mehr von dieser CD wegkommen!

    das waren noch Zeiten! Die letzte durchwegs starke Scheibe von Madman Ozzy. Schade, dass er - im Gegensatz zu Alice Cooper - heute nicht mehr zu gebrauchen ist. R.I.P. Ozzy.....
