All six episodes from series two of the Channel 4 drama set in 1833 at the height of the British Industrial Revolution. At the heart of the story is Esther Price, a girl who works in a factory owned by the Greg family. Like many of her peers, Esther struggles with the low pay, long shifts and dangerous working conditions that were the hallmark of Britain`s factories in the 19th century.
However, unlike many others, Esther is prepared to stick up for herself - an astonishing feat of bravery given the ruthlessness of the men who oversee her work. Will she help inspire a change for the better?
