Detective Carrie Bliss is a cop in crisis. She's beautiful and capable, but recovering from the recent split with her husband whom she sees in the squad room every day. With a boss who doesn't like her, Carrie charges forward and demands to head the investigation of the department's toughest case... a maniacal serial killer who leaves his female victims drained of blood.

On her way home one night from a stake-out. Carrie runs into a stranger dressed as a milkman. Within seconds she realizes that this man fits the profile of the killer, but when she fires her weapon, bullets don't even phase him. It's only when he bares his teeth and sinks them into her, that she realizes what this creature is.

Carrie begins to transform and only she knows the secret. Her fellow cops don't buy her story, (that she won't be free until the killer dies) and there's only one way to kill a vampire. But first, she has to trap him with something he wants... something soft, sexy and deadly... like a Midnight's Kiss.
