Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson stars in this gritty and inspirational movie based on a true story of a group of teenage delinquents given a second chance to redeem themselves by playing football. Sean Porter (Johnson) is a frustrated juvenile probation officer. Most of the kids in his detention camp are either sent back to prison once they leave or meet a violent end when they return to the streets. Desperately looking for a way to make a difference, he and his co-worker Malcolm Moore (Xzibit, TV's PIMP MY RIDE) devise a plan to teach discipline and responsibility through the game of football. But with only four weeks before the start of the season, Porter must overcome insurmountable odds to put together a competitive team. It's a season that will test their minds, spirit, and bodies as Porter teaches his players the principles of good character, strength through resiliency, and genuine respect for one another.

    Jungendliche Strassegangsters die im Bootcamp den Sinn im Leben durch Football endecken und die Chance ergreifen über ihr eigenes Leben zu bestimmen. Ein eindrücklicher Film der zeigt, was mit mentaler Stärke durch den Sport und dem dazugehörigen Zusammenhalt im Team, alles bewegen kann. Die Selbsterkenntnis, dass jeder für sein Leben und Handeln selbst verantwortlich ist und dafür auch bereit ist Opfer zu bringen.

    Habe den Film wieder mal gesehen und bin immer noch begeistert davon. Dwayne Johnson zeigte schon damals, was in ihm steckt und dass er als Jugendlicher das Gleiche erlebt hat wie die Jungs im Film spürt man seiner glaubwürdigen Performance ab.

    Super Film!!! Und ganz bestimmt hat man die Story nicht schon in anderen Filmen gesehen, denn dies ist eine einzigartige, wahre Story. Ok!

    Ich mag "The Rock" in Filmen wie "Be cool". Spiel auf Bewährung ist meines Erachtens ein Film, dessen Story wir schon etliche male in andern Filmen gesehen haben. Die schauspielerische Leistung ist flach, die Jungs des Footballteams scheinbar untalentiert. Auch der emotionale Aspekt bleibt total auf der Strecke. Schade, habe mir mehr erhofft. Wer Football mag, für den ist's sicher was. Ansonsten Finger davon lassen.

    dieser film ist einfach nur genial! habe noch nie so viele eindrückliche und bewegende szenen in einem film gsesehen!klasse schaupspiel leistungen von the rock und xzibit und natürlich auch von dden kids! bei diesem film muess sogar jeder mann aufpassen das im nicht die tränen runterlaufen! absoluter weltklasse film

    hab selten so gute , eindrückliche und gefühlsvolle minuten erlebt wie in diesem film ! eifach genial ! hätte ich nicht erwartet, deswegem all meine vorstellungen wurden übertroffen !
    kann ich jedem weiterempfelen
