Cold Creek Manor is the heart-pounding thriller that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat in tension-filled suspense. Wanting to escape city life for the saner, safer countryside, New Yorkers Cooper Tilson (Dennis Quaid), his wife Leah (Golden Globe winner Sharon Stone) and their two children move into a dilatpidated old mansion still filled with the possessions of the previous family. Turning it into their dream house soon becomes a living nightmare when the previous owner (Stephen Dorff) shows up, and a series of terrifying incidents lead them on a spine-tingling search for clues to the estate's dark and lurid past.

Cooper and Leah Tilson (Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone) are a wealthy couple who have grown tired of the high stress of life in New York City and are looking to move to someplace with more breathing room. Upstate, they find a mansion in the village of Cold Creek which has fallen into disrepair after it was repossessed. Convinced the house has great possibilities, The Tilsons buy it, and with a little hard work Cooper, Leah, and their two children are soon living in their dream home. Unknown to The Tilsons, the house used to belong to a lifelong Cold Creek resident named Dale Massie (Stephen Dorff), a ne'er-do-well who ended up behind bars. After he's released from prison, Massie makes it clear to the new owners that he wants his home back, and before long Cooper and Leah begin learning the disturbing truth about the history of the mansion - and that many Cold Creek residents don't take kindly to new arrivals.

    sehr guter film....spannend und misteriöse atmosphäre!find ich sehr geil!....wie unten gesagt wurde,ein film kann auch ohne viel blut vergiessen "horror-mässig"sein..!!!würd ich auf jeden fall jedem empfehlen dieser film!

    Ich finde es ist ein sehr guter Film. Wenn man einen unterhaltenden Thriller sehem möchte ist man hier gut bedient.

    Dieser Film beweist, dass ein guter Thriller auch ohne Schiessereien und Blutvergiessen auskommt. Toll!

    Guter Spannungsaufbau bis zur Filmhälfte. Nach der nervigen
    "Schlangenszene" ist der Film aber zu vorhersehbar und mühsam.
