Splitz is yet another teen comedy that has college students engaging in activities wholly unrelated to education, with events meant to be held together by a plot too weak to stand on its own. This time around, some women have formed a band called the Splitz, and because they are hardly attracting anyone's attention, they need to expand their audience. With that goal in mind, they decide to help bail out a sorority at Hooter (yes, Hooter) College, and yes, this makes no logical sense. It seems that unless the sorority can win a trumped-up sports contest with two other campus sororities, the evil dean will close them down. The band members and the sorority sisters join forces, and after the requisite (and to some viewers, offensive) takes of nubile women playing strip basketball and wrestling in their underwear, if anyone still thinks the setting is a college they should go back to grade school.
