A couple of junior high outcast buddies-boy genius Wolfgang (River Phoenix) and media junkie Ben (Ethan Hawke)-start having shared dreams they can't account for. They find they've been given the schematics for a space vehicle from junkyard scraps, and the key to a wild and laugh-filled extraterrestrial adventure.

EXPLORERS are the inventive story about three idealistic and thrill-seeking boys who combine their wits and astuteness to build their own spaceship. Accordingly, the boys blast-off into the galaxy and embark on journeys both whimsical and weird.

Schon seit jungem Alter verschlang ich den Film mit Begeisterung und Emotionen.
Auch heute, 10 Jahre später hat sich nichts an dem geändert.
