Newcomer Jude Demorest plays Star, a tough-as-nails young woman who came up in the foster care system and decides to take control of her destiny. Together with her sister Simone (newcomer Brittany OGrady), and her Instagram bestie Alexandra (newcomer Ryan Destiny), Star journeys to Atlanta where they all hope to become music superstars.
