Description

Roman J. Israel, Esq. is a dramatic thriller set in the overburdened Los Angeles criminal court system. Denzel Washington stars as a driven, idealistic defense attorney whose life is suddenly disrupted. Der Film besticht durch das differenzierte Spiel von Denzel Washington, das alleine macht den Film schon sehr sehenswert. Der Film hat zudem einige starke Szenen die auch Symbolcharakter für die Wandlung von Roman Israel haben.
