When a London-based conservationist is sent to Ireland with his wife and infant child to survey an area of forest believed to be hallowed ground by superstitious locals, his actions unwittingly disturb a horde of demonic creatures who prey upon the lost. Endlich mal wieder was zum Gruseln ohne dämliche Akteure, unlogische Handlung und miese Computereffekte !!!

Trotz der vielen dunklen Szenen halte ich die 3-D-Version für sehenswert, weil die räumliche Tiefe immer wieder positiv auffällt.

Hier sollte man sich auch die Extras angucken, die den Film nicht entzaubern, sondern u.a. die aufwendige Gestaltung der handgemachten Waldwesen zeigt.

Die Spannung ist enorm hoch und ich gehe im Dunkeln bestimmt nicht mehr in den Wald !
