Description

LEFT BEHIND ist ein miserabler Film, bei dem einfach überhaupt nichts richtig gemacht wurde und stimmig ist (trotz 16 Millionen US-Dollar Filmbudget). Hände weg von diesem Schund!

Ziemlicher Käse diesr Film! Die Special effects, wenn man das überhaupt so nennen darf, sind katastrophal! Cage scheint seine religiöse Seite nocht nicht abgelegt zu haben! Nach "Knowing" ein weiterer "Religionsfilm"! Knowing war passabel, dieses Machtwerk hier ist einfach nur schlecht!

Ich mag Nicolas Cage als Schauspieler. Mir scheint bloss, seine Rollen werden immer schwacher und sinnloser. Sollte diesem Film wirklich eine Fortsetzung folgen, dann hoffe ich, dass er mehr darstellt. Ich finde ihn wirklich schwach und so was von religiös (sektierisch?) gepolt, dass er fast peinlich wirkt. Jedoch kann ich mir vorstellen, dass die Bücher besser sind. Ich kenne sie nicht. Da weiss der Vorschreiber mehr darüber. Jedenfalls habe ich den Film gesehen und kann ich wirklich nicht empfehlen. Aber Geschmäcker sind verschieden und akzeptiere auch andere Meinungen.

Tolle Umsetzung, bei der Nicolas Cage hält, was seine Besetzung verspricht. Auch die anderen Rollen sind gut besetzt. Natürlich kann der Film nicht so komplex sein wie die Bücher, jedoch erkennt man als Leser den Stoff im Film recht gut. Allerdings bekommt der Film sein volles Gewicht erst, wenn die Reihe fortgesetzt wird (das soll laut Produzent auch passieren).
