Description

In the 28th century, Valerian and Laureline are a team of special operatives charged with maintaining order throughout the human territories. Ce film français à gros budget est une semi-réussite, on en attendait beaucoup, c'est tantôt très cool et parfois très lent.

Je dois avouer que j'ai beaucoup aimé, les acteurs correspondent aux personnages de la BD, plus pour Laureline que pour Valerian, après on peut chercher la puce et dire que il y a beaucoup d'élément qui vont pas.

Ce film remplit son contrat, à savoir distraire, mission réussie.

Bilder wie aus Avatar, Humor wie aus MiB, Regie wie aus Fifth Element - der Film holt sich aus verschiedenen Vorgängern das Beste heraus.

Während Luc Besson bei Fifth Element noch mit Gummimasken arbeiten musste, kommt jetzt CGI zum Zug. Und es funktioniert: entstanden ist eine fantasievolle, faszinierende Welt bevölkert mit unzähligen Charakteren, die ein wahres Feuerwerk an Unterhaltung bieten. Diesen Film sollte man wohl zwei- oder mehrmals anschauen, nur um all die Hintergrund-Action mitzukriegen, die man sonst verpasst.

Leider kann die Story nicht mithalten. Unnötig dumme oder sinnlose Aktionen der Hauptdarsteller haben immer wieder neue Handlungsschlaufen zur Folge, welche für die eigentliche Story absolut unnötig sind. Da rollt man schon einmal die Augen und denkt sich: "Warum zum Geier hat er jetzt DAS gemacht ..?!"

Aber: bei so tollen Bildern und so guter Unterhaltung kann der Film gar nicht lang genug sein ;-) .
