Description

Die Geschichte bietet keine Action, dies vorweg. Und der Film ist besser als das Buch, meiner Meinung nach. Beklemmend und skuril gleichzeitig. Vor allem weil die Story wahr ist. Steve Carell ist genial und so glaubwürdig. Ein ganz anderer Schauspieler als die üblichen Komikfilme. Der Film verläuft in ruhigen Bahnen und spielt mit Emotionen auf psychologischer Ebene. Am Schluss bleibt nur ein Kopfschütteln. Dass es so was geben kann?

und deshalb vermutlich leer ausgegangen an den Oscars. Verdient hätten es die Schauspieler und der Regisseur allemal.
