    Katharine Hepburn glänzt in ihrer Rolle als jungfräuliche Missionarin an der Seite von Humphrey Bogart, der hier das Rauhbein spielt. Die beiden kommen sich aber trotzdem näher und meistern gemeinsam die Fahrt durch den Fluss! Ein Film für Hepburn Liebhaber, sowie Fans von Abenteuerfilmen!
