... ist die Szene mit Steiger und Brando im «Auto». Der Beginn des Method Acting. Ein Wahnsinnsstreifen, dessen Machart Massstäbe zu setzen vermochte. Da reden wir von einem Klassiker schlechthin.

Ein Meisterwerk schlecht hin. Ist zwar bereits etliche Jahre her seit ich diesen Film letztmals sah. Habe ihn jedoch früher unendlich oft gesehen. Marlon Brando in einer Paraderolle.
