From director Keith Gordon and executive producer Jodie Foster comes this taut psychological drama about love, ambition, and the thin line between heartbreak and insanity. After tragically losing his girlfriend Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) in a car bombing, aspiring politician Fielding (Billy Crudup) eventually pieces together his tattered life and runs for office. When Fielding begins seeing visions of Sarah on the campaign trail, he must decide if he has been driven mad by grief, or if the love of his life has finally returned.

In 1973 Fielding Pierce goes to law school and promptly fall sin love with Sarah, a women who spends her life to helping others. When tragedy strikes Fielding is torn between the past and his political future.
