A small village secreted in a Turkish mountainside is the location for this coming-of-age tale. Omer (Özkan Özen) and his best friend, Yakup (Ali Bey Kayali), are struck by hormonal changes but find their strict Muslim upbringings hamper them from pursuing their desires. Director Reha Erdem used a cast of mostly nonprofessional actors to tell this moving story.
