Description

Generation-past horror movie actor Byron Orlok (Boris Karloff) was going through the motions of one last promotional tour, feeling irrelevant in the face of the modern day's real-world terrors. He'd no inkling that his path would fatefully cross with a combat-traumatized salesman (Tim O'Kelly) abruptly gone on a shooting spree. Peter Bogdanovich's debut film is both a harrowing psychological study and an affectionate tribute to his lead; Sandy Baron, Nancy Hsueh, James Brown co-star.

Ein anspruchsvoller - leider nicht sehr bekannter - Film mit einem Boris Karloff als alternder Horror-Darsteller, wer mit dem sehr realen Horror konfrontiert wird. Muss man gesehen haben.
