After a year in Egypt, 25-year-old Ben Fields returns home to Louisville to begin his medical residency. Quicker then he can imagine, his family learns Ben has stage IV melanoma, and possibly a very short time to live. Distraught that his life will have left no impressions on the world, Ben decides to try to make a difference. His best friends (Silas Gaither - Survivor Africa) are on the road to success but Ben, armed with the powerful perspective of someone facing certain death, is determined to show them there is more to life than they may perceive. Meanwhile, his illness is devastating his mother (Erin Gray, Silver Spoons, Buck Rogers) and father (Ron McCoy). Ben sets himself a goal at great risk and sacrifice to himself and the people he loves. He questions his decisions; whether he has made the right choices towards the end of his life. In the end, his redemption may come by way of his friends becoming more aware of the value of life, and the choices they have mad, in this life-affirming story of love, friendship and sacrifice.
