After a violent storm, Ali awakens on a deserted beach, sick, disoriented and unsure of how he got there. He makes his way to the closest town where meets the beautiful and sensual Manuela, a dancer from Havana. She quickly feels drawn to him and despite her friend and suitor Guido`s warnings and ill remarks Manuela falls in love with this mysterious stranger. Desperate and distraught, Ali`s past suddenly unfolds as visions crash upon him. Through flashbacks he begins to realize who he is, where he has been and how he knows this man named `Guido`.
