A typically rebellious teenager, the life of Emma Hawkins takes a dramatic turn for the worse as she begins experiencing the most frightening fits. Her parents suspect the cause to be psychological; however there is something dark and terrible inside her that won`t be hiding for much longer. As the situation quickly reaches desperation, the family enlist the help of a priest who begins to visit Emma every day. Although the priest wants to reassure the family that all will be well, doubt begins to creep in as he too becomes more and more frightened. An unimaginable evil is hiding inside Emma, waiting for it`s time to enter into the world.
