With his escape room adventure game losing business, Brice (Skeet Ulrich) attempts to attract some new players by purchasing an ancient box from the mysterious Ramona (Sean Young). The box is said to contain a demonic presence and Brice is warned that it must remain closed at all times. However, when a group of four young friends take on Brice's escape room game and unwittingly open the box, they soon find themselves trapped with an evil killer and facing a race against time to get out alive.
