After spending his life in the outback, Ralph (Matt Day - The Hound Of The Baskervilles) decides to pursue his dreams of becoming a country singer. Beginning his journey to glorious Nashville, he stumbles upon a charismatic couple, Patsy (Miranda Otto - War Of The Worlds) and Boyd (Richard Roxburgh - Van Helsing), who agree to give him a lift. When they are suddenly chased by cops, threatened with guns, run off the road and caught with drugs, Ralph gets more than he bargains for - and his plans for Nashville quickly turn cold.
