Description

Considered one of Cuba`s most controversial films ever, this award-winning classic from Humberto Solás takes place in 1830s Cuba. The son of a rich colonial family falls in love with a proud, beautiful but poor mulatto girl, but the young man`s father wants to force him into marrying a woman from his own social standing.
