Description

it is a love story of a hindu boy and a muslim girl. the gets married after a lot of quarrel and settle at bombay and lives happily. but on 6th december 1992 the falls in a violently disrupted due to a variety of circumstantial events. finally it is a ordinary citizens of bombay who stands up bravely against the evil elements and stop the riots.

Dieser Film ist aboslut sehenswert. Geschichtlich und politisch ist er sehr interessant, da er die religiösen Unruhen der 90er Jahre in Bombay aufzeigt und sich für die Toleranz zwischen den Religionen einsetzt. Aber nicht nur, die (Liebes)Geschichte ist sehr sensibel dargestellt, die Bilder und Tanzszenen sind sehr schön und die Musik einmalig (ich LIEBE "Kannalane"). Schade, dass nicht mehr Filme aus Südindien in Europa verkauft werden!
