La sopravvivenza quotidiana di Vic nell`Arizona post-apocalittica del 2024 al termine della quarta guerra mondiale. Vic è accompagnato dal fido cane Blood con il quale è in grado di comunicare telepaticamente. Il compito di Blood è quello di scovare grazie al suo fiuto le donne, che visti i tempi se ne stanno ben nascoste ed evitare che il ragazzo incappi negli screamers, nomadi mutanti radioattivi.

der hund spricht nicht, er ist telepathisch begabt und vermittelt seine gedanken per telepathie an den jungen. nur so nebenbei, weil ein sprechender hund lächerlicher wirkt als einer, der einfach nur der telepathie (durch mutation) mächtig ist. der film ist sehr gut, ich fand die darstellung des amerikanischen totalitären staates - was ja nicht minder aktuell ist... - sehr gut.
