    Nun ist also sind die Songs der originalen Kassette, die 1995 in Senegal eine musikalische Sensation war, neu abgemischt und auf den aktuellen Stand der Studiotechnik gebracht worden. Und ja: die Aufnahmen klingen klarer, die einzelnen Instrumente und Stimmen sind eigenständiger im Mix erkennbar. Doch es gibt auch einen erheblichen Nachteil zur CD von 1995: Durch die Beschränkung auf die Songs der originalen Kassette fallen Ohrwürmer wie z.B. «Doxandeme» weg.
