    Nun, Kultfilme werden von der Masse gekürt, aber zu der Zeit gab es den Begriff noch nicht (1. Kultfilm? Rocky Horror Picture Show?). Dieser Anti-James Bond-Film ist ein ganz besonderer, optischer Leckerbissen, der sehr offensichtlich im Kalten Krieg spielt (und damit auch spielt). Dagegen sehen die James Bond-Filme aus der gleichen Zeit eher plump aus. Dieser Anti-James Bond-Film hat Charme, Witz, Geist und jede Menge Überraschungen parat. Kein Wunder, denn Ken Russell führte Regie. Ein «Ausgezeichnet» geb ich nur in ganz wenigen Fällen.
