    Das erste "offizielle" Billy Idol Album zwingt einen gerade dazu, mitzutanzen und zu -summen, so frisch sind die Titel und die dazugehörigen Gitarrenriffs, so rauchig und sympathisch ist die Stimme Billy Idols, die man weltweit kein zweites Mal findet und finden wird. Fernab von jeglichem elektronischem Schnick-Schnack und Kommerzialität darf man hier noch ungestraft bekennend nicken und sagen: "Der Junge hat's einfach drauf!". Wird auf dieser Scheibe oft herber und zugleich melidiöser Rock serviert, darf man sich auch mit Titeln wie "It's so cruel" mal zurücklehnen und die zarten Seiten der Gitarren geniesen. Zu "White Wedding" muss ja wohl kaum noch was gesagt werden, es erübrigt sich jede Diskussion um "Hole in the Wall" und "Shooting Stars". Das Album braucht sich nach 29 Jahren hinter nichts und Niemandem verstecken, und viele (vermeintliche) Rockgrößen können sich hier eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden.
